About Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT)

The Masters of Physiotherapy program is a two year post graduate program which provides students with specialisations in the various aspects of physiotherapy. Parul University’s Faculty of Physiotherapy, through this program seeks to nurture and develop students who have effective skillsets to ensure the wellness of society. Physiotherapy provides an indepth understanding into the various forms of physical therapy which acts as treatment modalities for the various physique related issues faced by people. The Faculty of Physiotherapy is equipped with state of the art laboratory facilities for practical training, as well as promoting within the students a culture of research and development. With an elite league of faculties from the most renowned institutions across the country, the Faculty of Physiotherapy goes on to provide students with the most comprehensive learning experience. The areas of specialisation which are open to the student graduates of physiotherapy include Cardio‒respiratory, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation, Medical Surgical, Neurological Disorders, Musculoskeletal and Sports. Through its 750 bedded multi specialty hospital, the Faculty of Physiotherapy operates a specific physiotherapy ward which goes on to provide students with the most practical understanding of physical health and wellness. Beyond the scope of the curriculum, the program goes on to provide students with various professional skills and abilities which go on to enhance their career competencies.
