About Diploma in Information Technology

With the growing scope of digital technology in and around the world, there has been an increasing demand for experts who are highly skilled in various aspects of technology. The Department of Information technology under the Faculty of Engineering offers a three year diploma program in information technology which seeks to impart within the students the fundamental knowledge regarding both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field. As a way to impart within the students a sound practical training, the department is equipped with state of the art laboratories and research centres which provide an exposure to a pool of knowledge regarding computing. The program shares with the students relevent insights regarding various concepts such as artificial intelligence, internet of things and data analystics amongst other areas.
