In pursuit of the nation’s agenda for making India a global destination for higher education, Vadodara’s PU is set to emerge as one of the leaders in internationalization. In the coming academic year, this Higher Education Institution (HEI) anticipates welcoming over 2,000 international students from more than 55 nationalities, predominantly from Asian, African, and Pacific countries. This remarkable international presence underscores the university's commitment to providing a global learning experience that prepares students for success in an interconnected world.
At present, over 900 international students from 40 nationalities have already joined the university, predominantly from Asian, African, and Pacific countries, with the remaining batch venturing to India as the year progresses. PU continues to solidify its reputation as a global educational hub with a thriving international community, showcasing the university's dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. As a notable mark of the University’s efforts, a group of 225 students from Bhutan recently ventured to India, to begin their studies at the University, with a significant representation from Zimbabwe, Nepal, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, Mozambique, Bangladesh, Malawi, and Kenya.

International students at PU have created a bustling community of learning diversities through various engagements, such as cultural performances during the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, winning awards at the Association of Indian University’s AIU Youth Festivals, engaging in sporting activities, developing innovative start-up projects in healthcare, and much more. In line with the Prime Minister’s and Central Government’s policy agenda for "Study in India" and the State initiative for "Study in Gujarat," this new addition of international students at Parul University will enhance India’s position as a global education destination.
Through the efforts of its Office of International Affairs, the University has strategically created this one-of-a-kind intersection of cultures within the campus. Nang Eaindra Kyaw from Myanmar, enrolled for the 2024 Batch of B. Tech in Computer Science Engineering said "India’s competitive edge in technology and innovation is what drew me here. Jigme Thinley from Bhutan, enrolled for the 2024 Batch of Bachelor of Computer Application said “With India recognized globally as a hub for tech expertise and innovation, I knew it was the ideal place to advance my education.
