About Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence

With the growing dependance upon automated systems, robotics, and intelligence systems throughout the various sectors of life, there has been an increasing demand for experts who go on to possess the specialised skillsets required to navigate this field. The Faculty of Egineering's department of Computer Science Engineering offers a four year bachelors degree specialisation in Artificial Intelligence which endevours to equip students with the much needed training which they require in this field. The program focuses in imparting within the students specialised skills in the fields of intelligent systems and digital signal processing to rapid control prototyping and system identification, along with the design, analysis and testing robots, autonomous vehicles and other complex electro-mechanical systems. The department of computer science is equipped with a total of 5 computer laboratories which are strategically designed to provide students with the most vital practical training exposure along with a supercomputer facility which seeks to provide the students with the most effective and efficient platform for high-end computing and data processing. Students who complete this program, will avail endless opportunities in numerous career avenues.

Role of Artificial Intelligence in delivering economic value by 2025 Data and Intelligent system could add $450bn - $500bn to India's GDP by 2025. The pandemic fast-tracked the dependence and upon such systems thus resulting in a continuous growth in the industry for experts who are trained in this field and upon completing this program, students will develop the ability to navigate the various aspects of the program.
