About M.Pharm Phytopharmacy & Phytomedicine

The Faculty of Pharmacy offers a two year Post Graduate program in Phytopharmacy & Phytomedicine which endevours to provide to develop human resources with an understanding of the herbal industries and nutraceutical industries. The program seeks to provide an understanding into the discovery of drugs from natural sources, along with their standardization and regulatory aspects of herbal-based medicine. Medicines acquired from herbs have maintained a large scope of acceptance amongst the people mainlhy as a result of their therapeutic effects. Therefore the Faculty of Pharmacy has put together this highly comprehensive program which seeks to provide students with the most comprehensive insights into the various aspects of the field. The Faculty is equipped with state of the art laboratories for herbal research and experimentation which allows the students to develop insights into this field. Students who get to pursue this program will learn to use a wide range of techniques for the quality control of natural plant materials which will prepare them for their various roles in the field. The faculty is equipped with some of the most trainined faculties and professionals who go on to train the students regarding the various aspects of the field all throughout their couse in preparation of their careers.
