About B.V.A Painting

The Bachelor of Visual Arts in Painting is a four year undergraduate program which develops within students the vital skill sets in creating visual textures and art forms which are practical, realistic, abstract and dynamic. The program exposes students to the various social, cultural and political dynamics of the world, thus providing them with a unique perspective and developing within them the necessary skills which allows them to represent and express these broad realities through unique art forms. Parul University’s Faculty of Fine Arts seeks to nurture and sharpen the creative elements of the students by offering them a unique hands on training exposure which allows them to continuously put their knowledge into practise. Students are enlightened regarding the program’s uniquely structured curriculum which covers vital concepts such as folk art of India, art philosophy, medieval art and still art to mention a few. As a way of developing the practical skill sets of the students, the program goes on to engage the students in a series of studio and workshop training sessions under the guidance of expert faculties and resource persons. The students are also engaged in a series of collaborative research projects under the guidance of artists and students from various parts of the nation and the world at large.
